Your mind is a powerful tool
use it.
Throw away that cream that makes you 10 times lighter
Don't you know that your beauty lies behind your pigment
Start realising your dream, you were born to be a fighter.
It's time we stop talking and implement.

You don't have to sell your soul
to get that expensive weave
Be your own provider and achieve.
That should be your ultimate goal
Believe.
Black girl, you are not anything less than perfect. You are levitation.
So you don't have to live up to anybody's expectations.

Black girl don't look down on your mother tounge
There's no need to forget the values you learnt since you were young.
Black girl you are intellectual, intelligent, wise.
If they bring you down, rise.
Who told you the kitchen is your only place?
Realise your worth and embrace.
When they tell you that you're aren't good enough
Prove to them that you are a diamond in a rough
