Trapped in the stoop, beggin' for a bowl of soup.
Colder than a dog, lost in the fog.
Thought I had it all, guess I was wrong.
Owls on the tree's, wolves on their knees.
Scattered in the night, the crow took flight.
Looked to my left, looked to my right
Not alone tonight, walking down the woods.
Placed on my shoulder, is the shadow of the night.
This Is A Great Poem... It's Very Imaginative and Also Could Be An Allegory, Like A Symbolic Way Of Seeing Life In A Hard Way & Time of One's Life... But The Beauty Of Your Young Soul Is Ever Brave and Filled With Hope With Each Word... Liked It... You And Rosa Banks (another Young, Talented Poet Such As Yourself, Should Meet In Reading - smile) ... Poet-Pal, MoonBee
The words stir up, to me, an unfortunate person living alone in the shadows of the night. Abstract in a way. Nice write.

What wonderful magical imagery you have conjured with this poem! Nice measured rhythm as well as rhyme and I particularly love the final line.10+
