Blaze Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Blaze

Inferno.
Internal.
Maternal and paternal.
Blaze.
Heated into a frenzy crazed.
Heated by mistreatment.
Cold is the heart.
Frozen.
To never experience the warmth,
From a touch or a hug that thaws!
Keeping evil.
And the love of mischief,
The mistress...
Replacing what one like this has missed.
Dismissed.
Gone to no longer wish,
To kiss lips.
Preferring...
All ways to find and remain in a blaze.
And to swagger.
Thugged out!
