Blue Bell Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Blue Bell

Rating: 5.0

Sound getting louder and louder
ears can't bear them now
thought it is from outside
may be a bell ringing somewhere else.

Sound piercing heart
reached the head
and settled in my nerves
everything looking hell-bent.

My inner sense raging
to identify why it is so loud
Am I the only one
who is listening to this deafening sound!

Why others are aloof,
why no one is troubled,
why nobody search for source or cause?

Oh, it’s the blue bell
bell I have in my heart
I prayed for it to ring
when I am not doing right.

But what did I do wrong
let me just figure it out
to stop this blue bell’s sound

True smartly comprehended is this poem about The Blue Bell that resides in your nerves and everywhere, you must find out first where this sounds come from, then you can stop this terrifying sound. That's why I love poetry, it gives me a wider range to ponder. A sublimest Dramatic Monologue and Introspection, Asim. I have enjoyed very much. A 10 and much much more. A magnificent poem for sure.
