Born To Be Prey Poem by VIPINS PUTHOORAN

Born To Be Prey

Rating: 5.0

Arrows can pierce anytime on my back
I run hard with my green soul
No one gave me a shelter
I saw the door of a cave
I leapt forward fearlessly
And accepted an outroar
I became his prey.

Sometimes we are caught between two evils. The anguish was palpable while reading this poem. A very strong and well written poem.

With level of creativity at the top, you are superstar. First time in my life I felt poem is too short as I enjoyed reading each line when I reached last line my heart sank as it failed to accept the poem has been finished. These lines rock anyone in the world............ 'I saw the door of a cave is opened. I leapt forward cautiously. And I accepted an outroar. And I became his prey.'' A great poem by a great writer who is climbing each wrung of the ladder with his poetry.... Kudos! rating Perfect 10++++

Green is symbolic in lots of religions for being a colour for prosperity, green was used in the roman festivals of Saturnalias which later transferred to Christmas, in my Celtic heritage wearing green was considered witchcraft and for sorcery. (from what I read from some sources) Eitherway I like the texture of the poem.
