Miles away from home,
On the hills and in the valleys,
Through the desert and wilderness
Never minding day or night, cold or hot
They stand and fight and die
For we could sound sleep
They say, "We are the soldiers
Born to fight off the evils
Raised fearlessly to confront the death
Determined to stand firm and fight
Till we breath the last,
For we are the soldiers."
They say, "You can kill our bodies and burn them alive
But not our souls that fill our nation.
You can jab from behind and see us in pain
For you never have the courage to face us in the front."
They are our soldiers, our strength.
They are our souls, our living spirit
And you cannever quench the fire
That spread through our hearts.
And we say, "They are our soldiers."
