Broken Wings
You break my wings
So that I cannot fly
My heart had dreams
But now they will die
A promise, now broken
Can a knot mend it?
Trust once is forsaken
Can love again knit?
Better I let you be
Let you go your way
Better I set you free
My life bare, I’ll stay
