I was born an only child
Yet I have been blessed with honorary brothers
These are my brothers from different mothers
Not bound by name
Not bound by blood
Some I greet with a kiss and a hug
When im in need their alwayz there
Any time & any where
Not all share religion or even the same colour
Infact some brothers pray to the God Allah
They are worth their weight in Gold
We have mutual respect & loyalty
To me that is real royalty
I cherish these brothers
So I beg God please
Watch over my brothers
They are decendent of true Australian, Turkish & Lebanese
Soul Writer - I have other mothers, and am blessed. I understand how the faces of family can take many colors and creeds. See 'Different Kind of Love' when you get a chance. Your friend - Cheryl
Ramon, one who acts as a brother is a brother no matter what race, religion or creed. Such brother are not always easily found, but when you find them treasure them for all its worth, for people like that are the salt of the earth. Top Marks and thanks for sharing this lovely poem. David
