let her walk away
let her cry in the corner
where she feels she belongs
let her pull the petals of your rose
let her tears stain your clothes
let her sing the comforting love songs

kept in this place
where you hold her captive
why can't you let her fall through?

she's tired of falling
only to find
that you're there to catch her again
she knows it's not safe
despite your promises
she knows you're not her friend

let her show you the scars
and the bullet holes
are you having fun yet?
