Called To Set The Captives Free Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

I was called and given His authority
To break the chains and set the captives free,
My Savior King has given me the power
And by His Word I 'm destined to conquer
The darkness that keeps men from coming to light
For I know His Spirit in me will give them sight.

He alone goes before me to lead the way,
He teaches me His Truth and tells me what to say.
As I kneel before Him in humble submission
He births in my heart His love and compassion.
He is my Consuming Fire, Blessed Redeemer!
Glory to God, Father, Son, and Spirit forever!
