Candy

Candy is so dandy
its yummy to my tummy
but daddy says it rots your teeth
and sadly so does mommy
mom put the candy in my room
several days before
i lie in bed trying to figure out
how i could be this bored
then i saw the candy
man! i had forgotten!
i woke up the next morning
and all my teeth were rotten...
OOPS! ! !

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
