In happiness
we reside
but in sadness
is where we are always cast Aside
for our feelings of endearment towards the world
but their harsh words toward us
make us feel unworthy of what makes us most happy
our inner voices tread on us with guilt
for even the smallest of mistakes
will you
cast me aside
like the others have
or will you reside
In the happiness you give me
Will you keep this smile you have given me
or will you find another smile to love
will you decide to warm another's heart
are you going to choose to cast me aside
Or will you love me
with the years to come
marry me
continue with me
not leave me
stay with me
and please do not leave me
