I know a certain star
to some cold
to some dark.
But this star has a special glow
it can cause a turbulence
in my soul
oh, with its light so sweet
It makes my heart skip a beat.
There was a time where I thought
that I have captured her warmth.
But in heart weak, the words I spoke
And her radiant light with doubt I choked.
Thus the star no longer shines for me,
her glare is now solid and free.
But still, in the night sky,
I'd look up and see her smile
And feel her gleam
And her warmth
And her lost love.
I know a certain star,
to me warm,
to me bright.
And although I can no longer feel her bloom,
And although her incandescence will never be mine,
In my heart she will always shine.
