Chances Are Poem by Sandra jacks

Chances Are

Lock yourself in the darkest room,
hide yourself so they have no use,
block it out and push them away,
during it all destroy what they say

Deny the accusations forced at hand,
try to make them think that you're bland,
shine your sparks in the dark of night,
then dull away at the hint of light.

Play 'now you see me now you don't'
chances are that you really won't
entertain them with forced stories,
make it so they can't not believe

Now you see me now you don't
chances are baby that you wont
