Changes Are The Road Poem by Imaanah Saleem

I see no difference from the rain,
And the tears derived from my pain.
It's all reflections in my sight,
And changes are the road.

Day by day we go through life,
Avoiding the wrong,
But which way is right?
Which way will keep me in this life,
When changes are the road?

Nature refrains from holding on.
It knows its purpose,
It sings its song:
"Let not attachments cause you strife,
Because changes are the road! "

So I seek Wisdom.
I seek light.
I seek El's Strength in every fight.
Bearing no cares for keeping control;
For changes are the road.
