Chenoa Poem by James Walter Orr

Chenoa

Rating: 5.0

She speaks in succinct syllables
Of polished stone, straight to the point,
With little effort to adorn,
To annotate nor yet anoint.

The shattered shards strike straight and true
Into the listener's soul and heart
In some discordant melody
That tears tranquility apart.
