Cherokee Princesses Poem by G J Salgado

Cherokee Princesses

Hand woven like an intricate being is she,
Native pride of the medicine wolf,
Call of the wild cries for freedom,
Unknown existence exceeds her true value,
Painted in the art of her own heritage,
History of the language in the lands,
Repeats throughout the world's heart,
The souls of the world walk in the spirits of mother earth,
Sisterhood is found in the music of the air,
Motherhood dances with the wind of the moon,
Peace and hope is restored upon life once again,
By the courage found in every brave heart of the Native American Princess Warrior!
