Chick On Wings.........
Dawning golden rays, still not appearing...!
Usual morning breeze.... seems remaining calm
Early morn avian choir, sounded enjoying a break
Found myself too, still in bed, at nine AM
Rattling, rumbling and crackling, at day-breaks
Silenced, all of a sudden, as a rare occurrence
as if it is a resting day, for the world, by far
felt lazy to know even,the reasonbehind
Auto, forgetting its routine enlivening rumble
in a slumber, like, throwing the day in to a lull
Lively nest under my own warmly shell
is in a muteness, not seeing she chick as well
Awakening, memories of last night's affairs
packing bags 'n baggage with all sorts of things
a country-dinner, sans country-music and all that
painted faintly our chick, taking againto wings
When we go on a vacation, we are never in a hurry to wake up! No household chores to be attended....! The world also might appear to be taking rest..........! So we curl under the sheet and lie on our bed! Such breaks are necessary for the entire family! A beautiful poem!
Beautiful poem. Sometimes we like to go away from the crowd and enjoy loneliness in a far off place. Enjoyed the poem.
