Her mind hinted desertion,
While her heart wept for preservation.
Her cold skin ached for warmth
But her eyes saw the wrath.

Long years of sacrifice,
Was blended with lust and avarice,
Should she end her salvation?
Or submit yet again to his fragrance?

She could create
Wield power and also desecrate
Goddess of destruction in chains,
Her bloody eyes shed no shame.

Pink flesh scarred with black lies,
She was one amongst his many wives.
Though knowing her fate was dire,
She refused to hate the liar.

She breathes at last,
As her skin responds to his cast.
Beautiful she feels as she abides,
His exploring fingers she guides.

She would have missed,
His burning lips when they had kissed.
Maddened for his lust,
Impossible to keep her legs shut.

He was to be her freedom,
She decided; an undeniable beacon.
Though a luxury she couldn’t afford,
She decided to choose the Lord.
