Christmas Poem by Roby Chittilappilly

Christmas

Another Christmas eve,
So cold the night was,
that made me
skip the holy mass.

A knock on the door.
It was the Santa Claus
with loads of gifts.
So sleepy, I was.

Ready in my kitchen
is always the black tea.
With a wide smile on my face,
I served him the tea.
So impressed he was,
that he granted me a wish.

I wanted something so awesome,
which I've longed for long.
So bad of me, that I forgot
what I asked for.

I woke up the next day,
in a wonderful Casino
in Las Vegas.
I realized,
the greatest gambler,
I've become;
who have ever walked on this earth.
