Across the gulf of gardens
Your Christmas lights are clear.
Blinking on and off they
Bring a message of good cheer.
And through the trees in silhouette,
Against an evening sky
I see you aim to please,
And cheer the passers by.
And gladdened by your Bon amee
remember how to laugh
And remember Christmas
Of the distant past.
A sweet poem bringing Christmas ever nearer. Nice write. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
Good write, Daphne... I particularly liked the second stanza! Brian
