May this Christmas be different than the last
Time to put our troubled mind at ease and leave it in the past
Let go of all our past mistakes and agonies that came before
Burden us no longer, as we deadbolt the door
May this Christmas be more than just a story always told
But a rebirth of renewing ourselves instead of expecting the old
Lets not ever let our worries last more than a day
Be who we were made to be, every single day
Christmas is not a day, a season to partake
It is always with us, steering the lives we make
A change within us, like the first falling snow
Teaching us and leading, providing what we ought to know
