Circle Of Renewal Poem by Deborah Mach

Circle Of Renewal

Rating: 5.0

Connections faded
little communicated
relations jaded

By disclosure floored
old neglect to ford
attention then poured

Disjointed heart
he decides whether to part
she begs a new start

Deep sorrow of loss
desires almost to toss
mem'ries thick with moss

Emotions were steeled
defensive attempts to shield
must yield to be healed

Aching choice to live
real love compels to forgive
no more impassive

Offense they admit
allowing them to commit
renewed hearts are knit

Pain of self-less love
demonstrated from above
yields peace like a dove
