Circle Of Unholy Man Poem by Ramona Thompson

Circle Of Unholy Man

Rating: 5.0

Rewrite of Belinda Carlisle's Circle In The Sand

Darkness touching down all around

Creeping closer to all of mankind's end

When the alien thunder does crash

Baby, don't dare to look back

Or we will have no prayer ever

To escape again

Our darkest sin

Oh baby, anywhere we go

It seems

The evil works

To tear us ashunder

I beg, baby

Hang on with me to the bitter end

And maybe if we are lucky

We can last forever

Chorus

Circle of the unholy man

Chaos round and round

Never ending Hell may be what we've found

And as it rips the heart from me

Our love battles

Just to stay alive

Trapped inside

The circle of unholy man

Unholy circle of man

Cruelest wind

Evil moves in

Sins punished so harsh

Screams of agony carry

On the acid air

Day never again it seems to break

Mankind heart ache

I tremble beside you

Wondering what new terror

Next will befall us here

Oh baby, between you and me

Can you feel the consumption of this inhuman fever

Hang on if you can

With me, baby

Until the bitter end

And maybe if we're lucky

We can last forever

Chorus

Baby, please don't fear me

Can't you please stop screaming?

Oh baby, anywhere we go

It seems

The evil works

To tear us ashunder

I beg, baby

Hang on with me to the bitter end

And maybe if we are lucky

We can last forever

Chorus
