Citizens Deceive Themselves Washing Accountability Hands Poem by Terence George Craddock

Citizens Deceive Themselves Washing Accountability Hands

Rating: 5.0

citizens deceive themselves
naive washing their hands
divorced from accountability

prophets poets deceive no one persecuted
punished for revealing removing blinkers
from claiming ignorance innocent citizens

unaccountable public did nothing citizens
who desire to believe hoax political facts
all are guilty they cannot institute changes

inaction incapable
cannot institute change thus
exempting themselves

from trying taking responsibility
