Treasure Island

Kranthi Pothineni

Closed Path

Path of my voyage
Closed in front of eyes
By waving a farewell
To all my provisions
I had wished for life

In cover of its obscurity
I cried on limited power
Inside my silent shelter
Which time laid for me
To discover my new lay

Then I had found
There lays no end
For a true heart
That beats in love
Even when it breaks

So my old words died
On tip of my tongue
And new melodies came
From deep inside heart
I sang my new lays

When my old tracks
Had gone with wind
New land had opened
For me to wonder
In its hidden rich beauty

You have described Life well in a few sentences. Things change; You never how things can change, change for the better only if look for it. Well published. (Report) Reply

Closed paths are apparent though in static situations of life
with one finding him or herself directionless. Yet the trance
is what that can make the otherwise aimless life of a human
being to glow if one follows the circle of pragmatism.

    Best Wishes

I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
