Clouds Poem by Ian Rocky

Clouds

Patterns in the clouds
Sum up my life
Drifting aimlessly
Through trouble and strife

Floating around
Not caring how long
I stay in one place
Before moving on

Heavy with rain
Like my heart filled with hate
Dark and moody
Like the look on my face

Out bursts of anger
In flashes that are frightening
Like the rumble of thunder
And crashing of lightening

At the end of the day
turning to red
Like the bruises on my body
and the cuts on my head

Wispy and grey
like the hairs on my head
that were once full and dark
fore I killed him stone dead

The clouds are all gone now
The sky is clear blue
I long for the time when
My Conscience is too
