Clutch The Withered Rose Poem by Joshua Hudson

Clutch The Withered Rose

Clutch the withered rose
Though her thorns will pierce your soul
Fading beauty still remains
Trapped inside a single tear
Settled on one crushed and crimson petal
There she lies as something dies within
Now victim to the whim of every gust of wind
How she only longs to bloom again
