Coaxing Rhythms Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Coaxing Rhythms

Melodies slowly growing with special twinkling notes
and tempos, keeping a sincere holiness close to our
hearts.

Resting upon boulders, high in the mountains, needing
moments of solitary authenticity, having memories,
coaxing each of the rhythms to hold tightly to them.

Expressions of realizations that have settled down in
a rock-a-bye melody, soothing hearts everywhere tonight,
hearts and souls raising their voices in unison.
