Coffee Time

Wake up coffee
early morning coffee
first cup of day coffee

second cup of coffee
mid morning coffee
get into work coffee

lunchtime coffee
mid day break coffee
rest relax coffee

mid afternoon coffee
back into work coffee
keep going coffee

get home coffee
on way home coffee
arrive home coffee

tea time coffee?
dinner time coffee
after tea coffee?

coffee as adrenalines
sucking down cigarettes
keeps you slim on limbs

coffee gets us through day?
borrowed energy to stay?
course night sleep far away?

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born
