Collecting Darkened Memories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Collecting Darkened Memories

Shadows lying around, collecting darkened memories
into the light of a brilliant wonder that cannot
ever be destroyed.

Motions slipping and sliding across the surface of
an ocean, tantalizing and finding the essence of a
deep silence beneath the surface.

As it seems to evaporate in nighttime clouds above,
rightfully lifting spirits into heavens above, now
glittering all the while in moments of yesterday.
