Come To Me Poem by Casey Gochnour

Come To Me

Come and find this house I’ve built for you,
Come and see what it’s all come to.
Come and feel how warm it is inside,
Come and you can tell you won’t have to hide.

Come and look at the stairs we’ve made,
Come and see how the floors haven’t decayed.
Come and feel how the tables are strong,
Come and you can tell this is where you belong.

Come and taste the food in our dining hall,
Come and see it’s the way you like it, herbs and all.
Come and feel how the carpets are so soft against your feet,
Come and you can tell this love is our treat.

Come and smell the love in the air,
Come and see how the candles in darkness are our flare.
Come and feel my presence as it wraps around you,
Come and you can tell what we both want to do.

Come and find this house I’ve built for you,
Come and see what it’s all come to.
Come and feel how warm it makes us inside,
Come and you can tell you’ll never have to hide.

Come and kiss the lips that are waiting,
Come and taste how they act so sedating.
Come and feel my tongue against your tongue,
Come and hear our beauty that was left unsung.

Come and wrap your arms around me wholly,
Come and run your hands down me slowly.
Come and feel the warmth of our love,
Come and you can tell it’ll be everything you’ve dreamed of.

Come and see our brand new home.
