Once upon a time,
During the midst of my prime,
I met a woman who stole my heart,
It happened from the very start.
...

Spring had time of grass and trees,
Dirt with weeds ingrained and intertwined.
April showers bring May flowers,
But those tears brought no joy.
...

What beauty as she shines in the light of the sun,
Full of love, yet her heart impossible to be won.
A woman of nature, a woman of life,
Someday a woman to be someone’s wife.
...

4.

Woe is my heart for the tears it releases,
Not broken apart, I still have all the pieces.
But oh, how it weeps for this woman I’ve done wrong,
Hear me as I try to keep my voice strong.
...

Blade dancing along fingertips,
Dragging it through your tender lips…
Fear grips your heart and eyes widen,
The lady of the knife, your welcoming siren.
...

You left but you’re still in love with me,
You claim that you can’t have my romantics,
And you already see,
It’s not easy for you to always just live without me.
...

My mind is becoming clouded,
From the last way you sounded;
Your voice with the words you would make,
What time, my enemy, has come to take.
...

Now you’re gone, you’re too far away.
There was nothing I could say to make you stay,
But it’s okay.
...

She’s beautiful like the colors in the sky as the sun falls over the horizon. She’s beautiful like the notes of a piano so delicately pressed by fingers unknown to it, such a graceful melody. She’s beautiful like the smell of a warm home, so welcoming and gentle.

She’s beautiful the way she moves her hips to the beat of her favorite songs. She’s beautiful the way she walks and laughs, how she holds my hand in front of everyone. She’s beautiful the way the birds chirp in the morning, as the sun breaks through the window in cracks.
...

All those times when you’d come to see me,
Every time I went to see you,
A chocolate chip treat is what we would eat,
For those moments we would meet.
...

Flawed by creation, seeking reason,
Implying morality for the change of season,
Sacrificing in order to bring so called order,
With the talk of destiny being our major disorder.
...

Our love isn’t as far as you think,
It could never be gone in just a blink.
Our love cascades like waterfalls more than you think,
And you know our love is still in sync.
...

Come and find this house I’ve built for you,
Come and see what it’s all come to.
Come and feel how warm it is inside,
Come and you can tell you won’t have to hide.
...

Overwhelming fear conquers the mind,
Sleeping at night until the nightmare you find.
Tormenting dreams, deteriorating soul,
To deny is to invite madness, to accept is control.
...

Have you ever met someone and just thought they couldn’t be the one?
So you walk around and sometimes wonder,
If there might be none?
...

Let me out.
Let me out of this endless prison filled with hopelessness and doubt.
Let me out of this unending nightmare!
Release me from this life. It’s not fair, it’s not fair!
...

I can feel the distance becoming,
Nervous, my heartbeat drumming.
Punching my soul with every beat,
It’s true that love’s bittersweet.
...

Do you feel so close to me?
Have you fallen apart?
Apart from me, your puzzle piece,
Have we fallen apart?
...

There’s a pain in my heart that I’m feeling today,
For the love of my life feels further each day.
The sorrow is so much and the pain is so deep,
I’ve hurt her again, I can’t even sleep.
...

Sinking darkness, a life so obscene,
Demise ending, new slate so clean.
Crystal rain as they realize they knew,
He just didn’t know who to go to.

Secret Love

Once upon a time,
During the midst of my prime,
I met a woman who stole my heart,
It happened from the very start.

The longer I knew her it became hard to pretend,
It was impossible to see that she could be just a friend.
When I looked into her eyes,
I saw reality, her wondrous guise.

On that day it surely seemed,
That she is always what I've dreamed.
And although it's hard to keep inside,
Although it may prove hard to hide,

She came to show that love was true,
Her romanticism began to shine through.
Eyes penetrating, beyond my vision,
Led me to make one major decision.

To cherish, to hold?
To create love untold?
Our secret love hides deep within,
Behind every grin, we let love begin.

Maybe some day, right now or soon,
In the soft light of my bright moon.
I can steal your breath away,
With the words that I have to say.

I know that love can be so cliche,
But baby, trust me, we'll find a way.
You're my inspiration, you make me complete,
Your voice alone makes my heart skip a beat.

My body is yearning for your hand,
And one day we'll both understand.
These deep feelings held inside,
And then we'll both decide.

I'm not exactly sure of what God has in store,
There's no telling what could follow this door.
But I know this much is true,
Hannah, I'm crazy about you.
