At communion the transubstantiation that counts most is within the heart of the communicant. This morning, Father Dale gave a blessing to Toots who is just beginning to walk again after surgery and offered the host. The soft glow of the miraculous permeated the air.

The third verse belies the other two preceding ones. There was a progression. You stepped out of yourself or back from yourself and allowed God into your life and He filled your soul with love and divine grace. Well written.

As I read your first two stanzas I was biting my tongue. I have seen Gods beautiful works in spite of facing sadness on many levels. Reading your third stanza made my heart sigh, in a nice way. That's the way it is when you feel the touch of God in a simple moment of grace. I thought it was a great poem...thanks! ! I saw the same thing in my children and in many things since.
