Confession - Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

I am in the forest,
in the depths
of its entirety,
alone and completely
naked to truth.

Nature investigates
my secrets
and I feel invigorated
with its intentions.

Openly confessing
my altercations
does not free me
from struggle
with my conscience,
but burdens me further
with its admissions
and transition
into deeper thought.
