Constant Feelings Poem by Christy Marie Lucero

Constant Feelings

You have stayed with me steadfastly
You have loved me so faithfully
You have given me satisfaction constantly
You made me smile everyday

Never thinking about the possibility
That you will leave and abandon me
But you forsaken me incidentally
With falling tears I live in melancholy

I was expecting you to be unchanging
That you will stand for your constant feeling
But its as if your love is passing
It seems that I'm only dreaming

I have waited for you patiently
Hoping you will return suddenly
Persevere our love constantly
Nurture our love unfailingly

I always believe our love will last eternally
As we march together in harmony
We will both build a family
As we receive the sacrament of matrimony.
