Jealousy Poem by Christy Marie Lucero

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

I waited for you all night long
Hoping you will kiss me good night and sing a song
But God never permitted me, I was wrong
Now, I'm lying and dreaming alone

And as I honor the sunrise
I thought of giving you a surprise
Wishing you would hug me lovingly
As a means of thanking me

But I found you enjoying in someone else's company
You never notice me, cause with her, you are happy
My heart is bursting with anguish
Wonder when will this feeling be vanish

I know its ridiculous
But honestly, I'm jealous
Thinking you never notice my presence
Cause in her caress, you felt her tenderness

I'm begging your companion
I'm living in oblivion
Please fill my obscurity
Vanish away my jealousy
