Twilight Fantasy Poem by Christy Marie Lucero

Twilight Fantasy

Rating: 5.0

I lie in my bed with calmness
I sleep in a deafening silence
I started to close my eyes and begun dreaming
My soul is searching you that evening

At my darkest hour you were my light
Like a sparkling night you were my star-bright
Having an unstoppable illusion
Happiness in my imagination

A fanciful dream at twilight time
Your face is drawn in my mind
Hoping that the magical fantasy
Will turn into an unfleeting reality

But the affair was untrue
I lie awake, teary- eyed and blue
Please live with me in tranquility
Turn the fantasy into reality.
