Consume Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Consume

Consume

She could have realized
And taken steps when rushed
For fame and money
It was life's cruelty

No one is spared
And offered
An easy access to high ladder
It is not easier

She might be beautiful
And an innocent individual
But world is cruel
Like jackal

The fame becomes nightmare
As she steps further
People are ready to take an advantage
But fails to see danger and manage

It is wrong on our part to assume
But let us consume
The fact of life and its reality
Life is no easy journey
