Continually Protested Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Continually Protested

Difficult it gets,
To name and proclaim...
Someone to be a failure.
With repeated comments made.
Hoping to declare their incompetence,
As an effective device to use...
That will remove them with approval,
From a position they hold.
Claimed to have been,
Either obtained illegally.
Or appointed by deceiving.

Especially when,
One is given an attention received.
Proving a success of a failure,
That is continually protested.
Has left many craving it to digest.
With this to want more.
Even though the process they say upsets,
Everyday they await faithfully...
As if enough of one's failure,
They can not seem to get!
