Corona-Deadly Virus

Corona-Deadly virus
Sunday,9th May 2021

You are back from death's jaw
I clearly saw the happiness
even though shaded by sadness
it really reflected on the face

you were tested positive
and was believed to have with severe symptoms
such kind of gloom was seldom noticed
but you were provided with great care and medicine

you thought if invisible arms
that was not intended to harm
but a clear warning from nature
be kind, else you shall be extinct here

you thought what really went wrong
with the human beings
for causing ecological imbalance
and putting whole human race under turbulence

you are back home
and we welcome with warmth
but your faith was shaken
not for having taken ill but as disgruntled human

How can we be so inhuman?
she confided me in private even
Everything goes against us
'The recent pandemic has shaken our trust' she uttered in disgust
