Cover Your Eyes Poem by Damian Fisher

Cover Your Eyes

Rating: 4.0

Cover your eyes or else you will see
What really lies inside of me
For all the smiles I can give
Could never hide my deadly sins

My tears are gone I cannot cry
You leave me no choice I have to lie
Let me suffer leave me alone
I'll live in the dark and never go home

No matter what you say or what you see
I'm sorry to say my wrists are clean
You may think you can step in and help me escape
But I'm sorry my child it is way to late

Very heartfelt and filled with pain. There are a million faces to each individual, we are all sinners and saints. For what the words are worth. Interesting poetry.
