Cowardice Poem by Xavier Larracuente

Cowardice

All that I have to describe how I feel,
Thoughts that stay in my head,
Too timid to say how I feel,
So my chances drift away,
If the chance is right there...
Shouldn't I take it?
The crippling idea ensues,
Fear is its name,
The unknown is its power,
Hanging over my head as it does,
All the words I never say,
Disappear...
