Dancing The Night Away Poem by Practicing Poetess

Dancing The Night Away

Rating: 5.0

Cinderella wasn't the only one
Who danced the whole night through
I may not be a princess,
But to me, my prince is you.
My head is on your shoulder,
Eyes closed, I let you lead
The music, and your movements
And this moment's all I need
As body heat and harmony
Become one perfect blend,
You hold me tight, into the night
I hope this never ends.

Everyone should be lucky enough to have their own prince/princess. A well written poem, and a 10.
