Dark Poem by True Merritt

Dark

Darkness creeps over light
Beating back all that’s good
Evil shall prevail

Death is the Darkness
That keeps life in tow
Life is for death

Babies are born
But people die
Creation for pain

Love is the method
For the pain of death
Life creates its own pain

Light and dark are natural
Life and death are natural
Yet man still tries to fight it

The longer that a man fights
It means the weaker he gets
Then he can be taken

Life falls back under dark
All life succumbs to death
Death prevails, life fails
