Darkness Poem by joanna donne

Darkness

Rating: 4.0

Your arrogance is as thick as an armored soldier from an early century battle
Your coldness is sharp enough to cut ice, gold, and the depth of my soul and heart.
Your eyes instigated this situation yet their emptiness and malice now cause my shrieks at night
Your intentional physical pain upon me is uncalled for and unfair
You’re blind of my love or otherwise cruel by disregarding it as nothing
You left me in the dark and for that I will never forgive you
