Darkness Poem by Jennifer Cook

This darkness is taking over me,
I feel alone,
Seems like every time I fall I manage to get back up on feet and act like everything is fine,
But nothing is fine,
As the darkness comes, you manage to shine your light,
That light seems so bright but I know nothing will be right again,
This darkness, this loneliness,
As the darkness comes I began to fade away,
Away into the darkness of broken dreams,
Pain and Misery is what I feel,
Darkness that I feel deep within my soul,
As I reach out I began to disappear,
Disappear into the sea of unknown and certainty.
