Darkness Calls Poem by Nicolas Lusk

Darkness Calls

Where am I? Where have I gone to? I no longer see myself, the reflection is not mine. A stranger appears, he may look like me, but there is nothing of me in him. Disturbed, deranged, he torments me with his thoughts, the darkness within him. I fear he may lunge out and take me into his world, into the night, amongst the shadows. Save me... I have the right to exist, do I not?
