Darkness Will Fall
A wave of panic came over me
The coldness was in my soul
The numbness darkened my heart
Anger took control
Feeling dammed today
Blessings so far away
Pain searing my soul
Darkness blacking the sky
Where was all the love?
Did it all just die?
Hatred replacing Love
Anger replacing kindness
Chaos replacing peace
What has happened today?
This is all that I could see
As my mind drifted a way
