Dead Inside Poem by Ben mcelfresh

Dead Inside

Rating: 4.8

Down deep within my soul
A fire burns bright
This fire causing a geat pain
A pain no one else can feel.

The screams all round me
The blood puddles on the floor
The razor on the sink
Now do you know of my pain?

Can you see?
Can you care?
Can you listen?
Can you be the one i need?

In need of all these things
Maybe then i can heal
Maybe i can trust
Maybe, just maybe I'll live inside again.

No one ever listening
Causes me to trust only myself
Friends say they care
But do they speak the truth?

Maybe one day I'll know
Maybe one day I'll trust again
But for now
I'm dead inside.
